The ROLEX Boutique at 70 Collins Street was opened in December 2021. It is operated by Boutellier Montres and located in a high profile, 3 story, heritage listed building.

Following extensive base building upgrades and development of the concept design, BrookingHarper were appointed to oversee the documentation stage, coordinate approvals from Heritage Victoria and obtain the Building Permit. We then tendered the project and worked closely with the general contractor, sub-contractors, nominated suppliers, retailer and brand to deliver this flagship branded boutique.

Featuring superlative quality finishes, spectacular murano glass chandeliers and fine joinery and millwork, the boutique has a grand, residential feel that underpins the values of the brand.

This new Adelaide boutique for The Hour Glass contains a Rolex Shop in Shop of 100sqm and a Multi brand area with 7 other premium watch brands including Bulgari, Hublot, Chopard and Tudor.

BrookingHarper coordinated all the parties to deliver this exciting new addition to Rundle Mall in Adelaide’s CBD. Our role included, brief development and liaison with the design teams, Centre Management, Building Surveyor and Security Company. We also tendered the GC work and coordinated the Joinery supply.

We worked with Studio Dinding as lead designers for the multi brand area and shopfront, Rolex Australia for the Rolex SIS and Barrett Group for the fitout.

A paid pitch was run to find a lighting designer for the feature light in the multi brand area. Ilan El were successful and delivered the spectacular fitting, which includes perimeter lighting and various decorative glass fins, which reference the City of Adelaide plan.
