OMEGA spent many years searching for the perfect Collins Street location for their first Melbourne CBD boutique. Originally built in the 1920’s, this building had suffered several superficial refits over the years. The first fitout for OMEGA was carried out in 2016 and included making the ground floor accessible and providing quality back of house areas.
In 2023 the retail areas were completely refitted to reflect OMEGA’s current global standards. This included a revised mezzanine with a VIP area overlooking a mirrored, double height entry space featuring a spectacular chandelier. The street awning was replaced and the shopfront raised to provide greater visibility and visual merchandising opportunities.
Operational standards, traffic flow, branding and customer experience were all improved with this major refit.
This OMEGA boutique sits in Westfield Bondi Junction’s Super Premium zone, adjacent to Tiffany, Chanel and Louis Vuitton. It is the refit of a project first carried out by BrookingHarper in 2014.
Applying OMEGA’s current global brand standards, the boutique is more open to the mall and effectively conveys promotional campaigns. The lighting, materials and details support and enhance the brand values and the fixtures provide superlative merchandising and promotional opportunities.
